Keeping a Workout Journal
We strongly encourage everyone to keep an workout journal for the summer. This is a fast and easy way to see your progress and hold yourself accountable.
We think your journal should include the following information:
1. What activities you completed. Be specific. Articulate your times, distances and other necessary information. Also be sure to include date and time of your workout.
2. How you feel. Be honest. If your run was terrible, that's ok! Assessing the way you feel about your workout is so important to your improvement!
3. Sources of inspiration. If you find a quote, picture, article, or anything else that inspires you to be your best!
We also encourage you to reflect on your entries regularly. Go back and look at your week, month, summer and see how far you've come! Also be open to seeing where you didn't grow as much as you wanted to.
